The Sun describes the essential special you - your purpose , character , and consciousness . The Sun is the ruler of your whole life . your individual identity , will or ego and the immortal spirit or divine awareness within . It is also your connection to the life force of the cosmos .
Think of how it feels when the sun shines on a beautiful day in early summer . Don`t you just want to go out and feel the warmth on your skin ? Note how the brightness can lift your mood and give you joy . Or think how it feels when the skies are overcast with dark drizzly clouds and there is no sun . Remember the heavy lifeless feeling of a grey day when the sun is missing ? The sun describes the part of you that is full of light , warmth and confidence - your potential , authority and purpose , the real essence and strength of you.
This special energy is important , for it is the focus of your whole life on this plane , but it is also the spirit part of you that lives on into eternity. It encapsulates the past , present and future into the other realms , where you exist outside of this dimension . It could be said to be your destiny , but outside of space / time in this world - the transcendent , higher vibration of you that is in contact with both worlds , but leads you very openly and obviously in this one . It is the divine child within - your holy spirit if you like.
This card can also represent something that you consider to be your whole life , such as your career , if it is all consuming and your reason for living . Try not obsess on things to much and enjoy whats around you - Ensure your light shines brightly for all to see.
